4 April 2024 - Institute of Social Transformation and Regional Development (TRANSFORM), Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) Successfully Conducted Community Service Activities @ Semai Kasih Gemalai Budi Ramadan Al-Kareem 1445H

TRANSFORM UTHM today successfully conducted the Semai Kasih Gemalai Budi Ramadan Al-Kareem 1445H Program in the area around Parit Raja. This program, which received cooperation from the Head of Parit Raja Village, involved 12 senior citizens and belonged to the B40 group to receive donations. That's it.

5 January 2022 - The Institute of Social Transformation and Regional Development (TRANSFORM), Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) started the new year 2022 with a successful Senior Citizen Care Program (PPWE). The chairman of the program, Dr. Zahrul Akmal Damin, said, "PPWE was made possible through the collaboration of TRANSFORM UTHM with the Malaysia Islamic Dakwah Foundation (YADIM) of Johor State, the National Welfare Foundation (YKN) of the Southern Zone, the Head of Mukim 8 Sri Gading and the Head of Kampung Parit Raja".

The program, which was held to provide comfort to the elderly, was also attended by TRANSFORM Deputy Director Dr. Fauziah Ani, YKN Southern Zone Director Puan Nurul Zahrawaini Mohamad Nordin and Penghulu Mukim 8 Sri Gading Encik Mohammad Azar Aziz. A total of 25 elderly people were comforted through this program when they received donations from YADIM and YKN. Symbolically, five of them received donations in the form of food baskets and personal protective equipment at the Penghulu Mukim 8 Complex and another five received donations at their respective homes.

9 May 2021 - 'Sowing Love, May the Blessings of Ramadhan Al-Kareem 1442 H' Program.

Ramadhan Al-Kareem is a month with too many blessings. It would be a loss if these available blessings are not utilized. For that purpose, the Institute for Social Transformation and Regional Development (TRANSFORM), UTHM together with the UTHM Senior Citizen Activity Center Sponsoring Committee (PAWE) in collaboration with the Kampung Parit Raja Village Development and Security Committee (JPKK) have successfully organized a program to support selected senior citizens in the Sri Gading Parliament; specifically around Parit Raja on 5 May 2021. In this program, the organizers have handed over a total of 25 sets of donations containing basic necessities and sets of Raya cookies to 25 senior citizens. From elderly senior citizens to single mothers.

YBrs. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Amran bin Harun, Director of the TRANSFORM Institute, UTHM and Chairman of the PAWE UTHM Sponsoring Committee personally presented the contribution. Also accompanying him in this program were Tuan Hj. Majdan bin Jamain, Head of Kampung Parit Raja and several members of the program organizing committee.

The 'Semai Kasih Gemalai Budi Ramadhan Al-Karem 1442H' program has also received good support from donors consisting of UTHM residents, RBB Food Supply Enterprise, Raihanaz Beauty Centre and Deenur Sejati Enterprise and not forgetting donations received from caring individuals outside the University. TRANSFORM, the UTHM PAWE Sponsors Committee and JPKK Kampung Parit Raja would like to express their gratitude to everyone involved in making this CSR program a success.
